    What subject should I drop??

Imo keep MX2 because it makes MX1 count as 2 units as well and MX1 is easier than advanced maths (I got 97 in advanced maths yr 11, then 99 MX1 97 MX2). It's worth as a subject and I was struggling hard with complex numbers and graphing at the start and decided to keep it and it worked out. Also...

    Adding Another Course

Even if you don't get it tomorrow there's multiple rounds where you can edit your preferences and get offers so it should be fine

    Question.

I'm not sure but I think schools have to submit the final rankings at the end? Maybe it didn't happen but that's just a theory since idk what else could've happened. There could be some HSC mechanism that came into play who knows

    Biology or physics?

Check rawmarks.info for your first question For second question check rawmarks.info for aligning of marks (+ATAR calc for actual scaling) For third question, physics is irrelevant to 4u maths (unless they added some topic extremely similar to physics since I did it)

    Question.

Your school may have just rigged the ranks when they submitted it, with one potential reason being that they saw you doing better in the externals so they wanted you to be first.

    Biology or physics?

I did both and felt that physics had more memorising than biology (heaps of bio content was more understanding than memorising, e.g. kangaroos use fur as endotherms to fight against the cold - doesn't really require memorising). Also yeah year 11 bio is boring compared to year 12. I found bio...

    Doing all three sciences 💀

I did something like your option 3, as in I originally did all 3 sciences then dropped chem to do SDD as a bludge period while doing accelerated 2u maths/SOR 1. Definitely a fine option if you're confident in all of your 10-11 units. I think option 1 isn't as bad as it sounds because in year 12...

    math question in tests

There must be questions in those past papers that you can't do. The thing is most people just look at the answers and go "ok nice got it" and move on but I guarantee a week later you probably won't be able to solve that same question. So basically what u gotta do is try to reflect on what u...

Attempting to make $10K monthly from scratch.

Good luck, hope it works out well. I've heard it's best to focus on one business model and succeed in that but this sounds cool so hopefully it works

Does degree atar requirement indicate its value/quality?

No it doesn't indicate value since computer science is the most OP degree with the best industry yet it's a lot lower entry than e.g. medicine

    Advice Needed; Subject Dropping

Yea I just believe textbook questions aren't needed at all after u learn the basics/get a good understanding of each topic as they don't really resemble the HSC questions

    Advice Needed; Subject Dropping

Just learn the content either through teacher, textbook, or tutor, then move to solely past papers. Imo textbook for maths is useless after you have the basics down.

    subject selection help again :')

I just wanna give advice that you don't really need to consider difficulty of a subject THAT much. The reason for this is because if a subject is very hard, the alignment/scaling will make up for it. E.g. I got 92+ raw in bio (estimated) while in physics I think I got 88ish raw yet the final...

    subject selection help again :')

All good, nothing is worse than English The only subject where you can write something that is correct and lose marks Just a side note - med would be a lot harder than doing chem in high school so try not to be scared of high school subjects if you plan to take medicine Edit: This is gonna...

Is it worth doing 10 units for HSC?

From what it sounds like, Japanese won't be a safety net anyway so may as well drop it I did 10 units (Ignoring SOR 1 it was accelerated and we just did it for study periods in year 12 as Catholic Studies/SOR was compulsory) and it's fine if u're confident in ur subjects
