It's Spectrum (Cambridge) for junior school, but in year 10 it MIGHT be New Century Math whatever that is. Uhmm, yeah you MUST do advanced english in year 11, but you have a choice in year 12. At any rate, mid year 11, they give you a slip with your english ranking, and by the end of the...

    Private Schools?

They why not go to a public school. No difference according to you. Just more expensive. :) It's hard to say that Ascham, as an example, is for/in reach of typical lower working class parents.. so there is validity to the argument, that private schools are more generally more affluent people.

Some are born gay, some achieve gayness, and some have gayness thrust upon them

Haha, I think we call that religion narcissism. 'Worship thyself'. :D But yeah, I think we need to think for ourselves, not be motivated to act in a certain way because some alleged divine creator commanded us to, out of fear.

Re: 回复: people doing science-ish courses? LOSS OF RESPECT. Haha, I'm well aware of that. :p Oh well, you're either an entrepreneurial minded type who can afford to drop out, or you'll just stick it up for the next decade over a bachelor that'll guarantee you work.

    people doing science-ish courses?

Re: 回复: people doing science-ish courses? Kyle Sandilands is a douche. Kerry Packer was probably the same sort too. :p To the OP, to be honest, it doesn't really matter what you choose, but if you are interested in science courses at uni, then it'd make sense to do a science. Generally the...

Thanks for the rep Cookie! I haven't read up on Hitchens, but I'm much more well acquainted with Dawkins. Oh, and there's nothing quite like late nights sifting over philosophical matters when you should be resting up for trials haha :D

Some are born gay, some achieve gayness, and some have gayness thrust upon them

Your argument is contradictory. You're asking me, for the utopian world that secularists have envisioned, yet you cannot provide your own version. Your claim or belief in an afterlife is not substantial. Just because we have yet to achieve this social state, does not mean that we should give up...
