I think if you were a full gamer, like as in playing all the latest games which need really good specs, then get a quad core.
But for what you do Anna, which is mainly watching Anime, a Dual Core should be fine.
I dunno - I find studying with friends helpful. They can help you and can help motivate you.

Yeah, they won't release the official HSC Timetable until sometime during the year.
Also with the HSC results and the UAI, the UAI is usually released online and through SMS on the Thursday and the Board mail you your official credentials mid-January.
I don't believe in having set amounts of hours to study. I have goals which I set out to do every day. If I finish them within lets say 1-2 hours, I reward myself with the rest of the day off. If I don't finish them, I carry on into the night until I do finish them.
