There is no such distinction - there are degrees that mimic the traits of two (e.g Liberal Studies) but those aren't combined degrees at all they're just degrees. Combined degrees are where two degrees, ie a double degree are studied in one program and thus can be completed more quickly than...
Not at all universties - some universities allow you to simply put in a form for 'variation of program' since it isn't a transfer in the strictest sense.
While I'm not criticising your stance on the matter, may I ask why you're afraid of going close to uni students when you're trying to go to uni? Just interested.
It depends on the classes and whatnot - I know many of them share the same lecturers tutors. However from memory I think the DipComm students do different (but similar) subjects from the BA Comm students whereas the DipBus students mostly do the same as the first year BBus students.
The BPsych(Hons) is not more indepth as a student studying the Honours year in psychology will undertake the same range of subjects as someone who gained access to Honours from a different program (e.g BA or BSci).
The reason they are required to drop down to BA or BSci is because they no...
Actually that's not completely accurate, you can't do preliminary Senior Science with any other preliminary science however you can pick up Senior Science in addition to another science subject in year 12. I'm not sure why anyone would want to do that but there you go.
I suppose Cosmology and...
How so? It permits any person to use their own values to limit their choices or not, it also does not reccomend any choice over another. Offering all options allows someone who is from any ideological branch to exercise their own beliefs in action.
She is quite obviously a person under every definition and consensus, and thus for her it would be 'killing'. The same is not demonstrably true for a foetus, you have only assumed it to be so and thus your comparison fails. In order for it to hold meaning you must conclusively demonstrate that a...
I think you mean some of the subjects as opposed to whole courses.
I'm also not entirely sure why you quoted me...?
UAC opens for admissions every semester and you are able to apply at that point to any course offered, however you must have an entire years worth of tertiary study for that to...
I personally would go the Kuringai route and transfer after a year, or maybe even a semester, to the city. Travel isn't that much of a problem either - just get a weekly travelpass (about 18 dollars a week at student rates) and you can go almost anywhere on sydney by public transport. You can...
You can transfer after one semester using only your UAI, once you've completed a year's worth of tertiary study then a combination of UAI and tertiary marks will be used. For a more indepth explanation of the latter process, please go here.
You repeat whichever units you choose to repeat, you aren't forced to re-do the whole thing. You also can only make use of the results of your latest attempt in a subject, as opposed to your best.
So ultimately, yes you can combine them.
The majority of people do leave campus fairly quickly, because why stay on campus when the whole city is out there? Similarly, because of how UTS is so accessible by transport you will have a fair few people who live a long way away from the campus and so its in their best interests to head home...
This thread may have something of interest for you regarding UTS social life on campus. Regarding the workload of the double vs. the single, double degrees aren't more of a workload they just go for longer.
As far as the rest of it, I think joe m does that degree so he can probably give you...
