Yeah - the HSC is a whole different thing. But Prelim is closer because it is of a similar nature.

Wow - that's the exact opposite to my school :p At my school, they try and force everyone to do the lowest level of subjects (i.e. General Maths and Standard English) to keep the average high for us students who do Extension subjects - so we don't get 'scaled down' by the less capable students.

Wow 60% to get into MX2 - that's pretty low. At my school, they restrict entry into MX2 to the top maths class, which is only the accelerants, so you have to accelerate maths to do MX2 at my school.

LOL I'm not going to buy text books for Year 12 - my school's got pretty good text books, and if I need anything - I'll just scab them off a library.

True. I generally try and find quotes which can relate to a few topic ideas so I can adapt them to a variety of focus questions and ideas. Generally I've been lucky so far - as I've been able to integrate all my quotes and techniques to the focus question.

Re: 回复: Re: Do you like maths? Yeah they are amending it - but I'm pretty sure they aren't making it easier. According to my Maths coordinator - they're implementing multiple choice into the HSC for all levels of maths - doesn't seem more harder or more practical to me.

In most cases they would share it around, but some subjects only have 1 class, so of course only one teacher would mark it.

Re: What is next for the 09er's? Yeah - I tried doing the same thing (stole the idea of her :p) and failed. So it's not an easy thing to do.

LOL - I like using gel pens - they're good if they don't smudge (they smudge for most people but i don't get that problem).

LOL - aren't you forced to do extension subjects?

Yeah - I can't imagine Mathematics Extension 2 with multiple choice - that is just wrong.

Re: study time LOL So do I - my cousin got 99+, and I'm pretty sure he didn't study as much as you did - and he wasn't really smart as well - we all said he got it by working hard, but I think you work harder than he did.
