Acceleration of a subject is when you sit a course ahead of your cohort - generally a year ahead. Therefore you sit the public examination before everyone else (i.e. SC in Year 9, HSC in Year 10/11).

LOL - so that's your secret. My computer desk outside is pretty big, so I can easily work on it, and I have a study desk next to the computer in my room - so it's harder for me :p

Wow - that is dedication. This is the first holidays which I've actually studied... stupid HSC.

I’m also accelerating this year. Preparation wise – I’m just doing practise HSC Questions (my main focus being on 2U) and making sure I remember all my concepts. For maths – there’s no real other way to study for maths – just make sure you understand the concept and practise as much as possible...

You guys are both better off than me.. I duxed two subjects... all i got is two pieces of paper... not even marble paper :(

Re: study time LOL You can study smarter - mainly by basing all your study on the syllabus and only doing what is required - well that's my interpretation of studying smarter.

Re: 回复: Re: Do you like maths? Not really - I don't think taking algebra out of Maths will motivate them. Also many students sitting 2U are only sitting 2U because they are not capable of doing Extension subjects - therefore by taking algebra out - you're just giving them a greater disadvantage.

That's stupid IMO. A lot of people drop to standard (well that I know of anyway) because they hate Shakespeare.

Re: English Level But you wouldn't use a contraction in an extended response though, like I wouldn't - because it sounds horrible in my opinion. Also in an extended response, you'd tend to be 3rd person, and most conjunctions are 1st?

Re: 回复: Re: Do you like maths? LOL - I don't think I'm a 'math expert' so I'll be disadvantaged :( But yeah - if they did simplify the exam - I'd be slightly pissed... especially if I end up seeing idiots achieving Band 6 /E4 in both Extension courses.

LOL - that's with us as well. All the people in my MX1 Accelerated class go to the same tutor, but we have different people topping every year - but the people who top maths go to my tutor as well :p Truong. Same tutor as I and all the accelerated 3U people in my school go to.
