    Yeah same here! I'm a pen and exercise book freak - I hate writing with dodgy pens, they have to be the right smoothness, right tip sharpness... I guess that's why people say I write like a girl :p

    Reading Essays - doesn't sound awesome to me. Anyway - I still have no clue what texts we're doing next year - and neither do most of the people in Advanced at my school.

    Yeah same here - well our junior uniform isn't that bad... but it's pretty depressing all wearing gray - I like my new blue blazer... but it would've been nice to have something different for being prefect - the only difference is we wear a badge.

    Re: School captainincy nominations LOL - nah he's got many ties, but he's often angry. :p We don't have seperate roll calls, because roll call is based on our house colour at my school... but like a few of the house captains had to switch roll call classes because like 4 of our house...

    All our departments are pretty good in my opinion - except for the religious education department - funny enough. They're really good with organising religious stuff but when it comes to preparing us for exams and stuff - they're our worst department.

    As we've said before.. that's a proof question, there are many ways to prove one solution, that being Pythagoras' theorem - there's only one Pythagoras' theorem.

    Re: School captainincy nominations Ahh yes prefect masters - ours is really strict. People call him 'the-admiral' and he secretly tells us his mood by the way he dresses.... red tie = angry at prefects :p

    Yeah - I saw my cousin's old one... its a pinkish tea towel type red dress isn't it? Our junior uniform is pretty much like our senior uniform but with a whole different colour scheme, like junior = dark blue shirt, gray jumper, gray blazer and a full stripy tie. Senior = blue blazer, fluro...

    LOL I'm a 'maths pimp' and I have more than one calculator :p In every maths exam - i carry both my calculators and I change the batteries for both on the night before every exam - that's because when I sat the school certificate - my calc died within while trying to do the first question - ah...

    Preliminary HSC Yearly Exams Thoughts & Results

    I haven't gotten my marks back... and I don't think I will for a while, because we have a 2 week marking policy, and I don't think the holidays count. I think I did pretty well in most subjects - but Year 11 doesn't mean much to me anymore... HSC coming up (especially maths in under a month :()

    Do you like maths?

    With quadratics - there is only one answer consisting of the two possible values which x can take. You will not have the correct answer unless you provide both values. Therefore - still only one solution. +1
