    Best uni for studying Law?

The, 'but if two people are completely equal and one is from a sandstone university...' line has been used on this forum for years. Realistically guys, noone is the same. The person who said that law firms look for graduates who are 'experienced' is also fairly wrong. Undergraduates don't have...

    PhB/BSc at ANU question

I know two people who've transferred into the Phb Arts programme. Both were arts/law students and would have obtained a HD average in arts and a distinction average in law. Both would have had UAIs at around the 99 mark. However, I don't even know whether you can transfer into the Phb Science...

Tax law is about whether something is taxable not how much tax is payable. In most tax law exams you're given a shopping list of different items: overseas earnings, interest, profits from a trust, fringe benefits etc.

Billy Snedden: Bad Liberal leader or worst Liberal leader?

I choose to debate the classification of this article as light and offbeat news. Billy Snedden was neither light or offbeat.

    What happens during practicals?

Synthesise amphetamines and opiates. It really depends on whether you're doing physics, math, chemistry or biology. Maybe you should specify to give people a little more guidance on how to respond?

    ANU Fully Catered Accommodation Offers

When I moved down for the first time, my mum used it as an opportunity to foist on me every dining set that she needed to get rid of, but couldn't bring herself to throw out. You can squeeze a body or three into the wardrobe of some rooms.

Future Students '09ers! meet and greet here

Bruce is divided up into postgraduate and undergraduate accommodation, and we tend to hold on to most of our undergraduates. As a result we only took around 45 first year undergraduates. Re: our O-week, I don't have the full schedule on me at the moment, but I've seen it. Some of the events...

First Year Law Timetabling and Textbooks

Generally no. The faculty runs a course in intellectual property and environmental law for non-law students though. Neither will give you credit towards a law degree if you take one up later.

First Year Law Timetabling and Textbooks

As the above poster said, you'll only enroll in one tutorial group. You'll also only attend one stream of lectures, but you don't need to enroll in lectures. Generally full timetables will only be up by the first week of class, and you'll enroll in tutorials in the first week as well. Buy...
