Re: What school you at? Yeah - we're about 2500 in Years 11 and 12, however that's because we're systemic catholic, not independent catholic.

    Do you like english

Exactly, It's easier to do BETTER in English (without studying) than it is in Mathematics. However - if you don't study in English - chances are you won't do too well anyway.

    Your favoutire exam conditions

LOL yeah - but it means we've got shit whiteboards and only two classrooms can be installed with smartboards in each block.

    Do you like maths?

That's alright though. Everybody is different and has different likes. I just hate it when people say "oh maths is useless, and when am I going to use this and that"... when it's bloody obvious that Maths is useful.

    Process of dropping your subject

My school's a real pain in the ass when it comes to dropping...these are the 'fun' steps: - You must make sure that even after you drop - you're not sitting on 10 units. - Interview with Curriculum Coordinator - Get a form and get signatures from parents, subject teacher, subject coordinator...

    Do you like maths?

LOL same - I used to hate maths in years 7-8, then it became interesting in Year 9 when I did the Year 10 course (quadratics, trigonometry) and it's a lot more interesting in senior years (Applications of Calculus in the Physical World and also Investment and Owing - probably the most...

    Do you like english

LOL yeah - but generally bullshitting can be risky because if the marker doesn't like your opinions they can mark you down - which in essence is the nature of english. All other subjects have only one answer - therefore the teacher cannot mark you down if you have the correct answer. Therefore...

    Your favoutire exam conditions

Nah we don't have a year 12 hall either - its just that our classroom walls can be 'folded up' and it can be turned into a hall like setting.

    Do you like maths?

I like maths - it's an interesting and useful subject that is based purely on logic. None of this biased bullshit, there is one answer and one answer only. Also thought I'd add... 4U Maths FTW! (unless I end up dropping it :p)

    Your favoutire exam conditions

Yeah - I'd hate to have that in the HSC. Don't think supervisors would let that happen in any public exam though.

That's what I wanted to do in Year 12 when I was in Year 10.

    Starting HSC work?

Re: Have you started hsc work yet? LOL - for business studies, my school integrated Year 12 work into the prelim course, so we've been given an unofficial head start for the HSC. But yeah - I also don't think you need to have set hours - as I've mentioned before, my maths class finished the...

    Organising Work (merged)

A bit pedantic in my opinion Reshad, but it'll mean you'll be really organised. For the loose leaf paper - get the type with pre-punched holes, it'll save you a lot of time. Also with the folders - I'd just get one big one and shove everything into the folder - but that's just me.
