    Further Trig maths help

I was going to do this question, and I was half way though it... but you beat me to it Julie :p Yeah - I get that feeling a lot.

    your favourite science!

Yep. Well... except Senior Science - that just steals bits and pieces from everything else - but then again it's not a real science.

What should i do? (re: maths)

Getting a Band 6 in any HSC course regardless will highly benefit you in the UAI calculations. The thing is that people who sit those 'low scaling subjects' like Standard English or in this case General Maths will generally not get a Band 6 - because of the nature of the candidature and the...

    your favourite science!

I don't think that every other science revolves around Physics though. Like I can't really see how Biology revolves around physics (unless you look at it hypothetically and say that without the Big Bang there wouldn't be evolution therefore there wouldn't be organisms - but that's going a bit...

    Assignments Or Assessments...

worst/best english novel you have ever read in school?

Ooh I did Tommorow when the war began... I loved Marsden for it in Year 8 ... but I have to say I liked my novels in year 9 and 10 better :p But he's still a really good author.

Well that's how I see it, I'm not the one who made the original post. Yeah that's why I chose it.

    Assignments Or Assessments...

True. Assignments are good, if you read the question and answer it properly, and satisfy everything in the criteria - it's actually pretty easy. Plus you get a lot more time to do it - even though sometimes that can be a bad thing.

    Studying habbits?

Yeah, as I said, I do regret leaving it to the last minute - however it's good that I learn from this now and be prepeared for when the Year 12 Trials and HSC comes up. LOL I sense sarcasm.

    your favourite science!

Well physics helps define the fundamentals of how our world and our universe works. Without physics, there would be no explanation on how our world works - that's how I view it.

When given an assignment that requires researching....

That's pretty much what I do... even the part about going to the Whitlam library - Fairfield library is so dodgy so I go to the one in Cabra.

Things to do during holidays between end of Year 11 and start of Year 12

Nobody can do that. I know a few people who got 99+ and they only studied (I'm only using the word only when comparing it to 17 hours) 6 hours - and that was only when their exams were coming up.

How Much Power Do Teachers Have?

LOL Maths is compulsory at my school, and a lot of students don't want to do it. They force you to do the level of mathematics that the school wants you to do - so if you got under a band 5 in SC, they'll probably force you to do General mathematics.

    Your favoutire exam conditions

Yeah - I like to see where everyone else is up to, so I try and be just a little ahead of them.

Assignments - because you can always make it better (and I generally do better in them).

    School / Subject

Re: What school you at? LOL why did you mention that name to everyone on the internet. Now everyone's gonna think we're gay... then I'll have to lie and say I got to Blacktown :p We're not gay - well most of us. But you can't blame people for teasing us, I mean all boys education since Year...

    Studying habbits?

Yeah that's true - I've experienced that this year studying for my prelims (shouldn't have left it to the last 2 weeks) so I was cramming a lot. After this experience, I'm going to just start studying bit by bit everyday.

    Controversy with Prefects

Raunchy :p True, I mean I got elected to the prefect body - and I don't think it's such a big deal, and I don't look down on those who didn't get it.
