    Geometry Question

Let angle SQP be x. Angle SRP = x (equal angles stand on equal chords) Angle SRP also stands on chord BP. Therefore Angle BAP = x (equal angles stand on equal chords) Therefore Angle BAP = Angle SQP. But Angle BAP corresponds to Angle SQP. Therefore SQ // BA (corresponding...

It may be a bit late now, but schools usually keep their past papers and some schools have them going back for several years. If possible, see your teachers/check into school and see what you can find. I_F

Extension English = more work, more texts to read, more time spent doing English. Doing Advanced English is no basis for also doing Ext. You do Extension because you LIKE English and you'll put the effort in. You don't do it for brownie points because it's simply too much extra work to...

    Probability

That probability of an event that will always happen is 1. Similarily, the probability of an event will never happen is 0. Thus, you subtract from 1 to find your probability. 365P2 the number of permutations, and is a shorthand way of writing: n!/(n-r)! Where n! is the total amount of...

    House M.D.

Seems as though 90% of shows follow a basic formula like that. If people like the formula, no particular reason to vary it too much episode to episode, though season to season changes are nice. I_F

    Probability

You usually ignore the leap year, if I recall correctly. To factor it in, you'd have to multiply in the chance that someone is born in a leap year on February 29 - 1/4 x 1/366, I think. NNot too sure on that one. 365P2 is permutation notation - 365 total events, and you want the probability...

That's a nice expansion .ben, but I think the (2^k+1) is actually 2^(k+1), like word. said, which expands out into 2^k.2^1, I think. Ah well. We tried, Dreamerish. at least we can say that. Thanks for pointing that out, word. I_F

    2 to the power of 0 = 1. cos^1 θ = cos θ Using your brackets: sin (2^(n+1)θ)/2^(n+1)sinθ = sin (2^1.θ) / 2^1.sin θ = sin 2θ / 2 sin θ = 2 sinθcosθ/ 2 sin θ = cos θ I don't see any problem. Where is it? I_F
