    Which subject should i DROP????

Drop everything. Nah seriously, it really depends on how you feel towards every subject. I mean if you asked my opinion, I'd tell you to drop PDHPE - because I hate PDHPE (not that hard to guess), but you might enjoy it. So it really depends on how you feel towards each subject.

Future Plans: What ATAR/course/job are you aiming for?

Re: What UAI are you aiming for? Hi-5! our UAI estimates are pretty close. Yeah I just put in my exam marks into SAM, and walla, pretty accurate to what the other members put.

Re: What UAI are you aiming for? Well they're pretty accurate. SAM's estimate has me on 97.25. Gotta work harder!

Accelerated Subjects? - What are they?

Yeah it's difficult. I'm technically doing that, but I did sit the 2U course last year, so I do have a thorough knowledge of it from last year.

Future Plans: What ATAR/course/job are you aiming for?

Re: What UAI are you aiming for? It doesn't really matter. I mean if you are ranked Top 5 in a Top 50 school, you're bound to get a really high UAI.

James Ruse are cheaters and the BOS do not care.

Nope. Both you and I know we're not cheaters. Acceleration is endorsed by the Board of Studies. If it wasn't then why would they make it compulsory for someone to accelerate to sit a distinction course? I think if you are smart enough to learn something before you have to, then that's great...

Chances of me going to a Selective School (different person)

That would be stupid. What if your whole cohort was stupid? At my school, they base it on your mark, for example in IST only me and my friend got an A, and in English I was one fo only 8 people who got an A.

    Past trials with solutions?

There are plenty of past papers on the resource pages. if those aren't enough, ask your teacher. I know with my school, they have heaps of past papers from other schools and most teachers should have a few as well... i know my teacher does, he calls it his 'stash'.

Accelerated Subjects? - What are they?

Well that's what I did/currently am doing this year. I'm not sure what I'll get, but i think it would still be beneficial to give it a try. My school accelerates its students, but its different to both options you have presented. In Year 9, a few students are selected to sit the School...

Accelerated Subjects? - What are they?

Well if you were first in the year, I'd suggest you consider doing the accelerated subject - well at least try it. You can just always not sit the HSC if you didn't want to after giving it a try and catch up.

Accelerated Subjects? - What are they?

Acceleration is when you complete a HSC Course earlier than the rest of your cohort. It doesn't have to be in Mathematics or English - it can be any HSC Course. I'm currently an accelerated student sitting my HSC in Year 11 for Maths and Maths Ext 1 - and I would highly recommend it for the...

Recommended Texbooks/Study Guides for Preliminary HSC?

Re: Recommended Texbooks/Study Guides? Dot Point is expensive though. Our school gives us K.I.S.S Science books, and they're good but again too brief.

Re: 回复: Re: 回复: Re: 回复: Re: What UAI are you aiming for? Thanks guys for the estimate. It's actually a big suprise, I mean I'd be happy with anything over 90, but I want to work harder to increase my chances of getting a UAI over 95. Don't do it! Extension 2 would be hell, I know Extension 1...
