Do you get given a scrap piece of paper to work out multiple choice answers?

Like I said, unused (blank) booklets are returned to stock. ANYTHING with student writing must be sent to the marking centre. The supervisors don't get to decide anything in between. If they do anything to the contrary they are not following the rules given to them.

The BOS will look at other marks which were not affected by the fires. Eg if HSC maths is affected they may compare the marks with the SC marks for the same students 2 years ago.

Are teachers allowed to force students to drop out of acceleration?

If you are in a government school, no, you can't be forced out. If you attend a private school, you play by their rules.

Depends on the amount of cheating. Lesser amounts of plagiarism (a few paragraphs) are dealt with in marking. If you plagiarise in a major way you are hauled b4 the board of studies.

Question about Misadventure/Illness form & HSC exams

Wrong. If the appeal is upheld, your exam mark will be the higher of your actual exam mark and your assessment mark. If your assessment mark is used, your oral mark will be thrown away.

    Single Person Subjects

Students named on the First in Course list have achieved two things. They have come first in that particular HSC course and their result is in the top band. http://www.boardofstudies.nsw.edu.au/ebos/static/FSTIC_2011_12.html

What happens if you're sick on the day of a HSC exam but still sit the exam?

You can also see the doctor straight after the exam, as long as he/she can still see that you are sick and can write a report for b.o.s. to say that. If you don't see the doctor at all, your appeal is pretty much screwed, unless you manage to vomit on the supervisor's shoes.
