Uh, for a twitch game like Q4 you'll need the best of everything. Just 1 second of lag kills you.

So it looks like we'll be getting a new season after all! Now all Fox has to do is bring back Firefly and let Arrested Development live.

    International Studies/Law

Both programs have the same UAI cut off. I'd imagine that it wouldn't be too hard as long as you pass everything. That said, I'd check the different courses that you can take under the International Studies degree, if they're the same as anything you could do under arts (except more restrictive...

Do you see yourself marrying outside your race?

    1. Because they're hot. 2. Because they're hot. 3. Because they're hot. 4. Because they're hot. 5. Because they're hot. No seriously, that was all that I could come up with :(

    Arts or Commerce?

I'd have to disagree with you there loq. Law is more of a generalist degree now, alot of people study it without ever intending to practice law. As long as the interest is there, it's awesome.

Uni Advice - UOW or move to Usyd?

I've rented in both Sydney and Canberra. Canberra, particularly in the CBD isn't cheaper.

You said that Sydney was expensive, compared to what? Bungadoo?

    Majors in BA (Int Rel)

You should really contact the faculty. Personally I think that the Arts (IR) degree is fairly limited, and that could really screw you around in your first year (particularly if you don't like the language). Take it from someone who had the same problem with a very similar degree. Also, have you...

    Arts or Commerce?

What works for your friend may not work for you. It seems like an easy choice then, do arts! Obviously with an arts degree you wouldn't be limited to becoming either a historian or a philosopher. Research skills that you learn in your arts degree will compliment your law studies...

    national undergraduate scholarships

Play the family card, there has to be SOME reason why it's unreasonable for you to live at home. Social workers don't check, I had a useless mini-interview with a social worker while I was still in Sydney, afterwards I found out that you don't even need to talk to one unless you're under 16...

    UQ vs ANU

Uh, those places take forever. Don't bother. They have HUNDREDS upon HUNDREDS of people submit applications online, then lead you on a merry dance for months afterwards. Just get a job from the Canberra Times when you get down here.

    Arts or Commerce?

As a word of warning, I'm NOT an arts student. I think I know enough to be qualified in what I'm saying though. I'll start with the bad before I get to the good. History - If you want to do history, particularly ancient history, don't come to the ANU. Go to the university of Sydney. I've been...

    UQ vs ANU

See, I'd thought that you'd decided on UQ! http://campusmap.anu.edu.au/displaymap.asp?grid=ef32 The first 5 links on that part of the map show pictures of the different parts of the law faculty. I'm not sure how it compares to other faculties, but it's probably larger than UNSW's current...

Uni Advice - UOW or move to Usyd?

    1) Believe it or not, renting in Sydney is pretty much in line with Melbourne and Canberra. 2) Part time work and university is not time consuming. Centrelink in itself ($200 a week including RA) is enough to cover rent and food. Throw in an extra 10-15 hrs a week for pocket money and you're...
