Can't really suggest anything to be honest. There isn't a right or wrong. That's why I said that it's best to find something you have an interest in.

They don't read that spiel to remind students; students are expected to know this already. Basically it absolves BOSTES of any accusation that the student was unaware of this requirement. In other words, a student can never say they weren't warned.
