    Got credits for 1001 and 1002 without any Year 11 or 12 science. You'll have no issues with.

    Can't speak for eco units at Macquarie but first year subjects require basic 2U, then second and third year units can vary between 2U and 4U with also some uni level stuff (primarily differentiation). Of course, this does not include econometrics which is not studied at a high school level.

    Real talk: What is the point in English?

    I'm inclined to agree. I would prefer students to be taught how to write strong essays/reports within their own subjects (of course barring subjects like Maths). These skills are more relevant for the real world, and also teaches students how to write analytically.
