It really shouldn't matter which one you get anyway. Both have the exact same formulas. You should know them all off by heart as it is and you should ideally be at a point where you don't need to look at the formula sheet because really the formulas are quite intuitive.

No it's not. I did Standard as well lol. I know how many students cared about the hsc enough to try. Out of the whole English standard cohort in my school which was ~180 people I was the only one who got a 90+ atar.

Standard literally has the weakest cohort out of any subject. Probably 60% of students in it don't care about the Hsc.

Great news guys! Even when I did the subject last year I found Paper 2 to be so much easier

Well you have to pass the exam hurdle so iirc it will have your final grade as normal but then it might have something like 'failed hurdle' if you fail it.

How was it everyone?How did it compare to your internals and the old syllabus exams? Also wowie I see a lot of people saying their chances of a band 5+ are gone. Everyone feels like that after English, I did too but I got one =)
