contradiction found on the UAC book and the internet!!

Thanks but this still doesnt make sense... because in the UAC book, it says that PR holders and NZ citizens are not entitled to HECS-HELP and have to pay the uni fee without discount, which means you are not eligible for CSP as well, whereas on the booklet from goingtouni says you are.

contradiction found on the UAC book and the internet!!

on page 37 of the 2008 UAC book there is a line under the heading 7.2 "Paying your student contribution" that says "New Zealand citizens and holders of an Australian permanent resident visa (other than an Australian permanent humanitarian visa) do NOT have access to HECS-HELP loans and must pay...

    Your feelings towards internationals.

yes we local students also have to pay uni fee, but that is cheaper than what those international students have pay... they have to pay full fee for transport, they have to pay for their visa...

is adv science able to get a high-salary job?

GOOD POINT! but it is too much of an idealogue... you dont necessarily need passion to do everything. e.g. the great fashion designer Pierre Cardin had always wanted to be an opera singer, however he was poor when he was young so he left Italy for France and worked for Christian Dior at a...

does ur school rank really affect ur mark?

The myth: Whichever school you go does not matter, it is always up to you and how you study. The truth: the school does not effect you is truly wishful thinking. Your environment will effect how you perform, deeply. I heard about that "myth" on schools over and over again for a million...

How competitive are places in those not-so-popular unis?

How competetive are places for law in unis like ANU/MacqU? I mean, I have read articles saying universities deliberately publish a higher UAI cut-off just to make their course look prestigeous and then accept people more than 5 points below than the standard cut-off. So if you just happen to...

    commerce/law at ANU

Actually... I am interested in your course as well. But I have a UAI that is lower than the cut-off of last year. How lenient is that UAI guideline? If I am somewhat 5 points below the cut-off, do I still have a chance?
