how the hell do I study? Tips?

What don't you get about maths and science practice questions for studying? What have you been doing up until now for studying (if anything)? Here's a kinda rhetorical question to get you thinking as an example about what studying is about What are you doing to make sure you gain an...

    prelims

I'm meant to be doing math prelims sometime in week 9-10. All my teacher has said is that he is currently planning assuming "we will be back at school this term" and that the "exams are still on"... :\ I doubt that very very much, at least not in person. I cannot think of any way that an online...

How much do the gaps in ranks matter when averaging out assessment and exam marks.

My understanding is the same as @yanujw 's, how can B and C get the same internal mark if they are ranked differently?

https://www.smh.com.au/national/nsw/students-in-hotspot-areas-will-not-return-to-school-under-new-plan-20210806-p58geh.html Uhhhhhh What happens for those living in a hotspot area but going to e.g. a selective school out of that. Sounds like they are going to have a massive disadvantage.

    2021 HSC

Honestly I don't think that trials themselves are a massive health risk if done with even strict measures; they can do 2-3 daily (PCR) tests like they are doing for essential workers throughout and before/after the trial period, masks in exams, have to go straight to/from school for your test...

    2021 HSC

Don't think they could force schools to "not have trials" - or they wouldn't do that - they could say "no y12 students on site for exams allowed" but some schools would def do some kind of online testing/open book exams IMO, which ik aren't your traditional trials but still could be "trials"...

What strategies do you guys use to memorise content?

Exactly, flashcards are a remembering/recalling tool, they give you the ability to remember, but not nessecarily to understand a topic, you need to do that before making flashcards.

    2021 HSC

I would be very suprised Cancelling trials is a possibility but I doubt the actual HSC would be cancelled. Can even by run at local/nearest high school and the like instead of necessarily at your high school if they absolutely had to

    Am inforced to repeat

Year 9 and 10 are a very good time to figure out what study strategies work best for you. Do your best to pay attention in class, ask questions of the teach when you don't understand, and make notes; review these before exams, and do a few practice questions now and then. You should try and...
