    Half Yearly Exams!

Yes. My school pays for us (although we have to pay it back later i.e. before the end of the year) so we don't have to worry about getting money in on time. I found the science competition quite difficult... some of the questions that were asked required knowledge from parts of the syllabus...

    My HSC Commandments ...

Depends on your personal interpretation. For me it means that I should not expect to fail or to accept failure. I think of it as something which must be avoided at all costs. Even if it does occur, I don't think of it as failure but as a 'temporary detour'. Kind of like a conglomeration of...

    My HSC Commandments ...

Regarding number 4. When I was having a shower this morning I kept thinking of that one sentence. "Failure is not an option". I must've been telepathically connecting with you.

    A text relating to 'change'.

Don't use "V For Vendetta". I would advise against it, as it isn't sophisticated and I would recommend using a classic novel. I suppose you could use "The Portrait of Dorian Gray" (excellent piece of writing, I might add).

    Half Yearly Exams!

Did my Eng Adv yesterday and Maths 2U this morning. I will be pissed off if I don't get over 90% in English but for Maths I'm expecting either a fail or a 'just passed'. In the Trig section I answered 2 of the 8 questions and one was definitely wrong. Can anyone help me with trig :)?

    Committments other than academic?

My grades died towards the end of last year. I had the School Certificate along with English debating, History debating, music lessons, music exams, a (ex)boyfriend and a part time job. So my advice is, unless you have superb time management skills, don't have any of these other commitments of...
