Recommended Texbooks/Study Guides for Preliminary HSC?

Re: Where can I get Fitzpatrick book? Fitzpatrick is combined Year 11+12, but it's 1 book per level (2U/3U/4U). I might recommend Conquering Chemistry, for Chem, but that's about it.

Lol true, but in Maths in JR it's very hard to do the whole paper again in 3U, in 2U though, you probably could.

    Fountain Pens!

I'm consiering a Lamy Al-Star Safari in Ocean Blue/Aluminium. Is this a good choice? What nib should I buy? I think in terms of in cartridges you need to use Lamy Cartridges and I think it's simpler than bottled ink, although bottled ink may last longer.

    Highest Uni course UAI requirement?

2 Degrees in one. You study two degrees at the same time, i.e. Law with something else. You finish both off in 5 years and end up with two Bachelors degrees, while a 4 year course yields only 1.

    Tutor

A tutor alone cannot teach you ahead, you actually have to pay attention for it to work. Tutors alone will do nothing if you don't put in your own effort first.

Truth be told, not many people go there for the Ag, but lots of people (~60-70) do HSC Ag in Year 11. Ag is compulsory till Year 10, and it isn't a bad subject, it's just boring after 4 years. But there is a lot of injoking about Ag, and most students feel some connection to the farm, or are...

That is true. Ruse isn't that mystical castle in the sky filled with arrogant asian geeks and live in a high intensity pressure cooker environment. It's just not the dream place Asian parents want to send their child to. I remember telling some Year 7 parents that there would be fitness testing...

    extension count as subjects?

Err no they don't. They count as separate course not subjects. I.e. you can't do 4U English 4U Maths and Chem. You'd need a SOR or a Phys or anything else.
