    Working at a butcher

I thought only qualified butchers or apprentices only chopped meat? So if you weren't being trained you were customer service only...

    Question about psychology at UWS

Yes I agree, Bankstown is the better psych campus! More units to choose from there (Penrith will have even less next year...). Oddly I really enjoyed stats too! Did you have Tony Jinks isjongood? He's a very clear lecturer. It is sad that Neuro and History and Phil of Psych are...

    How'd you go in exams? Mine were very yucky...ended up with a D, C and P. I hate 60% weighting exams =(

I'm an assistant manager in a shop, and juggling 4 units was ok in first year, but not in second! May do summer school too next year, but the School Of Psych dosn't offer anything...electives here I come!

Need A Job! Help Please =[

Look up the training sections in the job ads part of the newspaper, a lot of training places offer RSA's for about 60-90 dollars. Make sure they're accreditted as a training centre. They give you the certificate on the day, assuming you pass (it's not hard). For the person who asked, pick...

    A stupid question

From this thread: http://community.boredofstudies.org/492/employment/76680/employment-hq.html • Part time- Work less than 35 hours per week. Receives same benefits as a full time worker, but on a pro rata basis. May choose to work part time because of family, travel interests or a hobby. Main...

Need A Job! Help Please =[

If you're looking for full time work, you could try admin/reception traineeships? Reasonable work environment and you probably wouldn't work weekends. Otherwise, apply for anything that says you don't need experience. Use your age as an advantage, with an RSA you could go for entry level bar...

I tried the semesterresults.asp in Platform Web...doesn't work =( No access to the GPA either. Oh well, I'll be patient...what's your predictions people? I don't have high hopes, two C's and a P I think. I went into one exam with 84%, but I have terrible exam anxiety so I doubt I stayed in...

    Results

Oh really? I can think of at least two centres for research within the School of Arts, let alone all of UWS! The Centre of Cultural Research and MARCS Laboratories, and YES they do offer PhD's. It's not fucking hard to find through Google either: Postgraduate Research Training | University of...

    I don't like [____________] type of fashion

Midriff tops are coming back. If the wearer has a washboard stomach and don't wear it in a slutty way (aka, really tight with shorts/miniskirt), they can look good (especially loose over jeans to balance out the showing of skin). Otherwise, eww.

Assignment printing is making me poor! cheap printers?

I agree with replacing the cartridges, just make sure that if you still have a warranty on the printer that using cheaper ink cartridges doesn't void it. I got lucky when it came to a printer, happened to know a business that was closing down and got a free b/w laser printer and monitor out...

    Officeworks

30 min drive isn't too bad, especially if you live in more of a rural area. Takes me a 40 min drive to get to work on a good day - though it's an improvement from the 1.5 hour trip into the CBD that I used to do. You do get used to it, put on some music when you drive so you don't get bored...

    Rules for Customers

Some customers complain we don't have enough range in stock even though we'll have at least a few different styles. Some customers complain that our racks and shelves are packed so tightly because we have TOO much stock (lady, you should see the storeroom, you cannot move in it!). Can't please...

^ I think it's only concerning honours application students for now. But it wouldn't surprise me if UWS moved to this sort of system instead of a GPA. ^^ Results are released a week earlier this year, on the 10th of December. Congrats (and thank you :) )! Do you know what sort of project...
