we never used to either, lol, but with the refit we got new workstations :) ok, none of our duty managers would know how to do a pickup (except our SSM obviously). :P

Haha, we used to have a VCR too. Now it's all digitalised and you watch it on the manager's workstation (and burn DVDs for loss prevention). Why don't they give you a shift like during the middle of the day you work in grocery or something so you can do a pickup closer to the end of the day...

10:30am? :| there's express where it's all in a line and it's "next please!" format (staggered) and then there's express where it's individual lanes and lines.

Keep on top of breaks... you don't want to be caught out in a really busy period and 3 people need their breaks. (who is doing your break?) I usually send a person from mains and a person from express at the same time... and if there's a lull I try and get 2 people to go at once, but make sure...

I remember throwing away the shopfitting for it when we decided to clean out the archive room :P

12 large, 3 exp, 2 s/s, 5 sco... lol it used to be 35K when we had 16 large, 4 exp and 2 S/S but the SCOs do have a lot of money in them, around 6k each.

Oh ok. I hardly bank any pickups anymore because our authorised holding is 95k and by Wednesday it is at 50k and last time I worked a Sunday the girl on Saturday didn't adjust the safe at all so I had to find 45k on a Sunday to get it back up (which I only managed because we had extended trading...

Yeah, it's a lot of work to do every day for no real benefit I think. I don't think it's anymore effective tracking cash over a day than a week... back in those days didn't the operators have to foot shortages? Also technically speaking the money in the floats is Armaguards as we have to bank...

heh, SCOs are handy but for the most part are a pain in the ass... one of them had a meltdown the other day in that it froze while printing the receipt, so I had to reboot it and told the customer to go to the service desk while I get the printed receipt from EJ, but then the last transaction...

Haha, our safe ran out of $5 notes once.. this was the week after we got SCOs and they didn't order extra notes from armaguard so there were about 3 days where we couldn't give out $5 notes haha.
