Imagine touring North Korea... the countryside is somewhat breathtaking - in terms of the natural landscape. But I must admit, however, that one would be lucky if he/she makes exits the country unscarred.

The Demilitarised Zone - the zone between South and North Korea. It's supposedly a taunting place. On the other side of the fence, you can see this humongous North Korean flag. It's a very, very hostile area. Foreigners are allowed to tour North Korea and the DMZ - however, restrictions...

Also, if there were very hostile relations with the two states, like that of China and Taiwan, I don't really think that either governments would allow for direct travel between countries.

Nope, sorry, I'm not Korean - I'm of Chinese heritage. I've visited Korea, myself - in certain areas, it is, indeed, a frightening place to be in - esp. Well I dunno... if everything fails and my UAI is simply not acceptable, I'll either sit the HSC again or become a flight attendant :uhoh:

A lot of people consider Japan and South Korea 'sister' countries. Having been to both, I'll be frank and say that Japan is far more interesting than that of Korea.

I'd love to join Qantas' Cadetship program - only problem is that I'm a NSW resident, and the Universities that are associated with the program are in VIC and QLD. QF have released a video on careers being a pilot with Qantas - here. Imagine being a pilot... being able to sail the skies...

lol well I'm of Asian ethnicity, even though I'd prefer it if we all considered each other Australian. Believe it or not, you've probably seen me ramble about this, but I loathe Maths. That's right, I'm of Asian ethnicity and HATE HATE HATE Maths! I love English :), even though my results are...
