lol well it's the other way around for me - picking up EE2 [Fingers crossed that my EE1 exam results will scrape me through] I was put in MX1 for some mysterious reason at th start of the year - probably because of my surprising SC results with Maths. I dropped that immediately.

    Sleep

I wouldn't really consider it to be 'wasted'. It's more or less a sign of sleep deprivation. Sleep deprivation can have its effects in the long run - when that comes, we'd all be regretting what we're doing to ourselves. Though we don't realise it, we're doing more harm than good through late...

    Anyone do Extension English?

LOL is that why you dropped it? She did check it - but most of the class only did the first two pages done - they got away with it. I still reckon that the nature of evil is still a fantastic topic to study. Conrad's novel, "Heart of Darkness", is almost a revelation of the nature of humans and...

    Do you like english

Well... perhaps the response was simply out of touch with the question. Other than that, I'd encourage a second opinion of the essay.

    Do you like maths?

I don't really enjoy it, but I don't really mind it. I refer to my posts in the 'Do you like English?' thread.

Well the teacher is somewhat ignorant in this situation. THe key to sustaining your argument is obviously through the mention of the effect of techniques. Even if the marker digresses with your opinions, if there is a strong foundation of techniques (and etc), I don't see why one could fail...

    Do you like english

Well perhaps there is a struggle for the need of both English and Maths. Yes, I admit to the fact that all lives will involve an element of Maths, but at the same time, English or language, rather, allows one to develop opinions about whatever it may be. One thing about the English department is...

Well look at that, you just expressed your opinion - hence there was an involvement with English. Enough said.

    Sleep

Sleep is fundamental to human existence - it obviously allows for your body to recuperate after a day's work and prep you up for the new day. SO you could say that sleep is your turnaround period. I refer to a member's post previous to this. You may be able to sleep for only a few hours and get...

    Do you like english

For all you Maths lovers out there, how do you express your opinions about the state of the world with numbers and formulae? We all have opinions - when we feel the need to express them, what do we use? We use language, which is fundamental to the umbrella of English. :D

Please comment on my essay (1984)

Even though the question doesn't really specify the fact that you need to make mention of techniques, you should always do so as a precautionary measure. It is these techniques that are designed to springboard you to your understanding. Also, try to embed your quotes rather than distinctly make...
