    Quotient Rule

Don't be mistaken, i'm not saying that you gotta work fast and take 'shortcuts' to have a plethora of time in 2U. I finished the 2008 in like 1.5 hrs. The rest i used for checking etc. I always set it out as such: u= , v= u'= , v'= y'=vu'+uv' OR/ y'=vu'-uv'/(v^2)

    Quotient Rule

dude, you've already answered your own Q. Marking Guide Line:-2 marks for correct answer. The HSC markers don't give a shit if you use u' v' system or just go straight ahead and find dy/dx.

Express 2.12^c as an angle in degrees?

The little 'c' is radians notation. 1 radian=180 degrees.

    Yr 11 trig identities

Im assuming the Q says : "Simplify". cotx-cotx(cos^2x) cotx(1-cos^2x) [factorisation, cotx is common in both terms] From the unit circle we know that sin^2x+cos^2x=1 so we can rearrange this like so: 1-cos^2x=sin^2x, now we can sub this in for the bracketed part cotx(sin^2x) now...

    Angle Of inclination linear function

Think about it dude, if you got a negative gradient then its sloping downwards from left to right. If you found this angle (@) to be 59 degrees. Then the value w.r.t the positive x axis would be 180-@ ( Angle of a Straight Line, Coordinate Geometry Rule) So Angle =180-@...

An elegant proof of Euler's identity!

    b) You guys are just doing this right: e^ix=cosx+isinx for any real number x e^i(pi)=cos(pi)+isin(pi) Since cos (pi)=-1, sin(pi)=0 e^i(pi)=-1 e^i(pi)+1=0

Some good curves to sketch in your spare time.

That's pretty cool. Heres one: (x^2)+(5y/4-sqrt|x|)^2=1 ( or just graphamatica it)

am i the only person who does me2 who does not do any of the sciences?

No offense or anything, you are only one of many many people that have a completely wrong view of HSC physics. HSC physics has become more of an english based subject than mathematical. Any maths that is still included within the current scope is substition into formulas (90% of which are given)...

    Probability Question

The binomial distrubution formula is P(X=R)=nCr p^k q^n-k where p is the successful attempts and q= is the unsuccessful ( ie.1-p). So as you can see nCr is inclusive. -But the reason behind the nCr is that the successful attempts could occur at anytime throughout the 7 tosses. There is no order.
