Telling the Truth - Related Texts

http://www.forbes.com/1998/05/11/otw3.html That arcticle is awesome. It's almost ten years old but it's concise and perfectly related to the Telling the Truth module. I used it for Frontline.

EE2 2007 bitch and procrastination thread

You guys! Get to work! Stop thinking of ways to drop it and just churn it out. No matter how crap it is, you can still edit! I was forced to drop it when I really wanted to continue so count yourselves lucky that you've got such supportive teachers.

    The Reading Recommendations Thread

As I've read a number of good books lately that I'd love to share, I thought I'd create this thread where others can post their own recommendations. This isn't necessarily a review thread so much as an area to post books that are (in your opinion) must reads. A rough template: Title...

    The Life Of Pi

First of all, have you read it? If not, then read it. If you have read it, then try to figure out on your own why it relates to Retreat from the Global. I haven't read it nor have I studied RFTG but I can kinda guess at ideas. Such as the story is removed from reality correct? So setting can be...

Relationships with parents -- I just felt I should share something

After having the worst relationship with my parents for a few years while I was being the idiotic rebelling teenager, we've actually got a great relationship now. Without the crap me being an idiot part, I don't think the situation would be as good as it is now. So I think it's a necessary...

Real estate in the United States

I wouldn't want to live in Detroit either *shudder* If you look in areas like Seattle or anywhere else on the West Coast you'll find a similar housing situation to Sydney and the rest of Australia. I'm not sure about the economics behind it though.

Real estate in the United States

I can find affordable housing in Australia too. In Wollongong. You don't know the type of neighbourhoods these houses are in, nor do you know the status of the city they're in. Flint, Michigan: As of the census of 2000, there were 124,943 people It's not a major city.

    Fav Shakespeare poem/play/sonnet/quote?

Only thing I really appreciate by Shakespeare: My mistress' eyes are nothing like the sun; Coral is far more red than her lips' red; If snow be white, why then her breasts are dun; If hairs be wires, black wires grow on her head. I have seen roses damasked, red and white, But no such roses see...
