well from what i heard usyd has econ broken into 2, micro (1sem) and macro (1sem) so they may be "a little behind" maybe because they go more in depth or something, cause they have half as much content to cover as us (@ uts) but maybe they dont go into more depth too, not sure i think...

yeah its a little hazy, but at you can get into the B.IT as long as you meet the ATAR

got into with only general maths, assumed knowledge jsut means you should know it you dont have to do it to get in but, i chose to do the bridging course because i thought it would be helpful, dont need to though

i got into UTS business this year, assumed knowladge MATHEMATICS with only general maths, and am doing the bridging course starting on the 9th (which was free being a UTS student, $300 otherwise), assumed knowledge is not looked at when making offers, just lets you know what level you should be...

chefman, you got to understand unis have limited resources, sure you might not have to hit 99 to perform well in law, except theres more ppl who get over 90 then there are resources to teach those students. so whats th ebest way of picking them, eg we can only take 100 students but 500 applied...

my brother and his mates all had credit averages and got graduate jobs at EY in audit and other accounting roles, this is about 6/7 years ago now but. andonce they got there CA's/CPA's i dont htink there uni marks matter anymore
