good luck trying to transfer with anything under 96. the lowest transfer mark i know of this yr has been a uai of 97.xx with a distinction average.

....... so is this indicative of all usyd law students.....? coulda, it's really not a problem walking those distances at usyd. however, if you had a tute in mackie, which is essentially in the suburbs, and then PNR, then you'd have something to complain about :p

Thanks for the cut off date, sarevok. Most of the people I spoke to clearly had no idea what they were talking about. However, the lovely guy at the Arts Faculty office told me to send a nice email notifying them... seems like the logical thing to do. :)

moonlightsonata- I thought USYD internal transfers would have been automatic! I spoke to the Student Centre yesterday, and they told me I didn't have to do anything apart from turning up at enrolment. Argh! How ridiculous. It's all so confusing... :burn:

damn I-jester, those are some awesome marks! Considering you have a HD average in Australian Politics..would you say it's an easy course? Easier than geopolitics (if you know what that's like)? I'll be doing it next semester, and similarly to yourself, i need to do well.

i echo everything said by gordo and sarah. if you can write a strong essay, then you'll be fine. i think many people get caught up with the whole 'oh no! there's so much to know' and they memorise all these insignificant details, and try to cram too much information into their essays. then...

thanks I-Jester :) I suppose I'm just feeling a bit bitter because I top the state in a subject, I'm one of those people who receive the Australian Students Prize, and I miss out on usyd law by .05. It hurts, hahah. It doesn't help that I despise my current degree as well... Apparently...

i thought broadway was for those that were disadvantaged during the hsc? surely you can't get uai points for debating. would that then mean you'd get points for mooting and mock trial as well? if all that is true, i'll be very pissed off....

definitely not counting the footnotes in the word count! 679 words at the moment. we've done quite well, hahah! :) my aim is to finish writing before 4:30..i always find that post-430am is when insanity sets in and it's most difficult to concentrate.

a decent 538 words...i was on a roll until I decided to watch foxtel, hahah. I swear by all nighters! and the feeling terrible the next day thing is part of the whole experience. although, I'm not too sure how well the allnighter thing will go at uni. i suppose when I get my (now shocking)...
