what kind of career opportunities are there with a commerce and law degree, besides private legal practice? because i've learnt that with commerce and law you can work in a range of fields including non-legal areas, but what kind of other jobs are really out there?

i'll probably go to the uni advisory days but i'm thinking to call the unis up and speak to someone because i want to decide before the 4th.. i don't mind going to any uni...im so confused :(

I want to do law combined with commerce, but i'm not sure at which uni i should do it. I'm considering unsw, usyd, macquarie and uts. I got 99.55 so looking at last year's cutt offs, i can probably get into macquarie, unsw and uts. Macquarie's also offered me a scholarship of $2500 for each...

i studied the labour market stuff last so it was fresh in my head :) what did u get for that calculation? government revenue from the tariff? it was simple, i just think i made a silly mistake

i did 26 and 28.... they were really good...

yea that's true.. so how would u structure an essay on unemployment and policies?

wouldnt it be better to talk about both micro and macro?

would this just be the impact on trade, finance/investment flows, labour, etc...?

maybe you should write a breif plan before writin the essay.. i always do and it really helps :)

so if there was an essay on policies that reduce unemployment... u would talk about microeconomic policies and how unemployment is reduced in the longer term
