i would say modern. Because its straight to the point and the historical issues and debates are more logical. Whereas, ancient is more contested and it can be confusing at times. But in saying this I think both histories are great and interesting

all this crap about soft subjects is bullshit, you do the subjects you are comfortable with and enjoy. it is possible for someone to get a very good UAI, it someone gets 90+ in general maths that will only help their UAI.

i think when your choosing a degree, you should choose the degree that you are good at, rather than want you enjoy the most. i think, because if your good it, you'll soon start to enjoy it.

talent 100 is just for the students who are freaks of nature. They just go to these places to reinforce their learning. No average student you goes their will get a high UAI. Tuition centres are pretty much designed for students who have a very good grasp of the subject and the ones that...

i heard that you should aim to finish all your subject notes 3-4 weeks before the trials. and when you write your notes, you should spend 1/2 hour revising what u just wrote/typed. Then just practise past papers.

firstly i turn off computers, TV's, moblies etc. then instead off saying to myself, i'm going to finish the project or whatever , i just go in the room and do it... it works for me

if you can do advanced, i would do it. i heard it is really hard to gain a band 6 in standard because the paper is compared to the advanced paper.
