Ok so i have given up on trying to fix the touchpad and brought myself a mouse. Now i have a new problem; i cannot control the pointer and it just moves erratically around the screen. Does anyone know how to fix this?

I am trying to make a VCD from a video taken on a camera. So far i have uploaded onto my computer as a mpeg file but when i try to make the VCD it says there is insufficient space on the cd but the file is only half the size of the cd. I think it might have something to do with the bit rate...

After reformatting a computer with the windows XP disk that did not come with th comp, can i now still use the recovery disks to reformat? Or do i need to uninstall windows first? PS how do i uninstall windows because when i go into Add or remove programs i can't find windows XP...
