    Postmodernism

I thought it was fine. I wouldn't say it was super-duper easy, but it was manageable. The creative was so strange. I made it up on the spot. I wasn't completely sure either what the independence/dependence thing meant, but I could work with it so it was alright. Essay was good too. Pretty much...

    What Did You Think?

I thought it was alright. I did Postmodernism. The creative was kind of weird. I just made it up on the spot so I'm not sure if it's really good. The essay question was do-able. I'm just glad it wasn't like that year when they had the picture of the dude looking in the mirror. Anyway, this...

    Finished HSC!! (merged)

Re: Finished HSC!! I just finished today. It feels good, but at the same time it's a bit "that's it?" Kind of weird because I have nothing to do now. Must go driving tomorrow.

    Annoyances

Juniors yelling outside during recess. Actually, I think one of them was freaking singing or bellowing or something for ages. I guess those "Please be quiet. HSC examinations" signs around the hall didn't work. Everyone asking for more booklets created a distraction as well, but it wasn't too bad.

So what did everyone think of it??

We only had 4-page booklets, but they told us it was because they ran out of 8-page ones. Everyone kept putting their hands up askng for more booklets.

    Russia/Soviet Union Question

I did the Stalinism question. I had prepared more on Soviet Foreign Policy, but this question was still really easy to answer. I was actually surprised at how simple it was.

So what did everyone think of it??

It wasn't bad at all :) The questions were pretty much straightforward, and there were no tricks.

How did you find the difficulty?

It was hard. That paper was evil.

Maths Ext 1 - General thoughts on the exam

That exam was messed up! Sure I didn't expect to ace it considering it's my worst subject, but gosh, those questions were awfully strange. Hopefully I passed. Q6 was a biatch. It was harder than Q7 IMO. This paper was the hardest 3U paper I've ever done. The questions were really odd, not...

    Any advice?

Just walk in there and hope for the best. That's what I intend to do tomorrow. Ext 1 Maths is in no way my strong suit, but I'm still going to try my best despite it being my weakest subject. You'll be able to write something. Make it up if you have to. It may give you some marks, you never...

    Japanese Continuers

Re: Japanese Continuers ... ridiculous.. I totally missed that pun! I guess I was laughing too hard at the "Ah! My Burger" name. It just amused me. Listening: I died as usual. I have no idea what that question going on about clubs at university was on about. But I expected the absolute worst...

    Module C: Representation and Text

I did History and Memory too. It was my least prepared one, but turned out being the best essay I wrote out of the three in the exam. The question was easy to work with, and pretty much made sense.

Module B: Critical Study of Texts

In the Skin: Most retarded question I've ever had to answer. I completely screwed it up! I didn't study "two key episodes" and wtf was with focusing on just characterisation of one character? That was so messed up.

HSC Advanced English is over. How do you feel?

Relieved. Tired. Happy. I still have to do Ext 1 English, but it should be a piece of cake compared to preparing for these three essays, plus it's also my last exam :) Right now, I'm just so glad Advanced Eng is over. No more journeys or modules ever ever again.

Which modules did you find hard?

Module B In the Skin of a Lion. I HATED that question. Too specific! They could have asked so many other things on this text, but they had to choose just Patrick's characterisation? WTF.

    Order of sections

CBA. Module C was easiest to understand. Module B was a bitch but I understood the question (probably did the worst in this one though. Die "In the Skin"!). Module A was just hard to mould, probably because I didn't really understand it (moral order?!)

    Did you finish on time?

Yes. Five minutes to spare. My hand hurts because I was writing so fast thinking I wouldn't finish on time :(

General Thoughts: English Adv. Paper 2 (Modules)

Module A: Nature of moral order? Well, I didn't completely grasp what they wanted, but my memorised essay seemed to fit so I just regurgitated with a bit of moulding. It was okay. Module B: I did "In the Skin". Worst question ever. It was too specific (Patrick's characterisation and how it...

General Thoughts: English Paper 1 2006

Section 1: A little odd I must admit. The landscape question o_o W.t.f. I think everyone must've interpreted that differently. Section 2: More specific than I expected. At first I was annoyed, but I managed to make something up on the spot. It was alright...could have been better if I had more...
