hey smart people i need to know if i can get a band 6 in 2unit maths...,my rank overall in 10/44.. but just say i get so well in the HSC could i possibly get a a band 6!?

Yeh I think Bands are based on your exam mark anyway...Correct me if I'm wrong.

not directly. no content frmo prelim is tested for hsc in itself, but the knowledge you gained might be. going on that though hsc maths is testing things you have learned throughout your maths career, thats the way maths is. but in short answer to your question, no

30% counts as in the knowledge of the prelim can be tested in HSC for maths.

No marks/ranks will be transferred.

They can test upto a third of the preliminary course content.

And no, marks don't count.
