you mean young right?

young was actually better last season. he was in the epl team of the season, he was second only to fabregas in assists, racked up a heap of goals also.

he's crosses are lethal man, and he's free kicks leave nothing to be desired; he can skin any fullback in the premier league with a combination of speed and stepovers, whereas lennon only possesses raw speed.

that being said, the longer young's shit form last, the better.
Yes, Young my mistake. I was on a study break so I was typing like a madman. I dunno if your deliberately down playing Lennon because he's at Spurs, which is fine, but this season I think he has been great, the Last season Lennon, much like Bentley now, struggled, this season, diff. story, I think hes been great. I have not, like I said, seen that much of Gab/Young but from what I have seen they are extremely quick but dont have enough style/vision, thought this will develop with age, arent they both <20? I tell you what but, I might be crying a different tune come this weekend.

Whoever said Lennon can't cross has gotta be having a laugh. He can cross, he just doesn't cross to the right player :haha:

His biggest asset is his pace but he struggles to beat his man. It'll all come with age I reckon, Lennon is a good player, as is Young. Personally I hope Young is off form this weekend, Liverpool can't really afford to drop points if we want to blow the title race wide open.

I never said he was better, I said he is as good as Young. Young is shite atm, Villa as a whole have been crap, they've hit a slump period.

Man, what are you eve trying to say? Are you not a LiverPOOL fan yourself? Some fan aye..."Liverspud":mad1:

Ashley Young 08/09 Premier League:
27 games, 5 games, 8 assists

Similar, although Young has assisted 6 more goals. But you can argue this is because he is in the more successful team. You can't deny that Tottenham and Aston Villa both had completely different seasons. One has changed manager and languised near the relegation zone all season, while one has challenged to break up the Top 4.For all the statistics in the world, surely you can see that Aaron Lennon is still an effective player within the league?

thanks and goodbye

Maybe Leeds but what about clubs like Nottingham Forest, Leicester City or even MK Dons to an extent? Dons used to be Wimbeldon a while ago...used to have their fair share of success

bentley deserves every bit of his bench time, that cocky twit.

anyway, this argument could go on forever...i'd like your opinion after this weekend though, since we'll be watching the same match.

Thats funny, it really is.

So, Fulham coming up this weekend and your expecting 3 points so you've come crawling back out of the woodwork, stopped licking your wounds aye?

Its a given 3 points against Fulham, Roy Hodgson has come out and claimed the game is a nothing fixture, "just a run out". Way to go Roy. The "Champions" are beaten 4-1 the week before and instead of analysing the victory and playing a competitive game you just roll over and die. Fulham have lost without taking to the field due to Mr Roy Hodgson's wonderful man management and motivational skills.

I come crawling out? I've been active on this board since forever. I just can't be stuffed reading all that crap about Liverpool because it's just so damn long and does not interest me.

It's not a given 3 points against Fulham. They have a very good record at home in the league. I don't think they've lost at home to any of the big teams yet. It's gonna be a hard game, but one that I expect us to win, not because of the opposition, but because of our own ambitions.

The Liverpool humiliation will not go away for a long time. But I'll take the league title over a league defeat double against our fiercest rival for this season. It'll be great to get to number 18 as well, wouldn't it?

You obviously know very little about Roy Hodgson or reverse psychology then.

I'm sure they would too.
