Are you serious? For 2 unit maths, we should be first!

brief lesson on history:

2001: Armidale & North Sydney Boys
2002: Pymble Ladies
2003: St Pius X College & Sydney Girls
2004: St Patrick's College
2005: Sefton
2006: North Sydney Boys
2007: Macquarie Fields
2008: Barker, St Pius, Caringbah, James Ruse, Frensham, Marist

We came first in two years in the last 8 years. I think we deserve to be first (or equal first with north sydney boys)
Haha, Sefton in 2005. I actually had a talk with the guy who came 2nd in 2005, and he hates my school because it scored a first place instead of him LOL. Also, in 2007 a girl from Sefton came 2nd in 2 unit Maths (so close!).

is that just 2 unit maths?
nah; I believe it is 2u + ext 1 + ext 2, not sure about general.
But, since our school doesn't offer general, doesnt matter anyway.

How'd St Pius go?

Re: Top 200 Schools - Daily Telegraph

St Pius X College ranked 92nd in Maths...

The ranks are calculated based on the total percentage of band 6s across ALL mathematics courses. This includes General Mathematics, Mathematics, Mathematics Extension 1 and Mathematics Extension 2.

Ruse's Maths result is just ridiculous...at a whopping 89% band 6 percentage, with MFIS 2nd at 71%.

hm, that's okay.

At least we got 100 (2 unit), 99+ (3 unit) , 97+ (4unit) at the top ends :D

That probably suggests there is a huge gap between the top and the average.
