But it's a comp... I did this last year (year 10), dont really like geography that much, ended up with a Distinction? I seriously thought I would've ended up with a participation lol... these comp's dont test how smart people are.. just how lucky you are on the day lol.. nah.. just general knowledge

I just did the test yesterday. Epic fail, bro. How am I supposed to know what warning signs are in area J2 or whatever when I can't see any freaking thing on the topographic map?!

Lol this test in easy. I've gotten High Distinction in both Year 9 and 10 with a precentile of 0.29 or something.

Yeah, I know. I remember a question asking about orographic rainfall. I mean, what the hell is that, anyway?! (It's precipitation falling in mountainous regions by the way, quite common in Wales nears the Brecon Beacons)

i hated the freaken questions about what STATE it was in, seriously how was i meant to know that, when there was no orientation and i haven't done any australian geography since year 10, 5 years ago. I loved the question on counterurbanisation though, it was a sinch

I got HD in year 10 (looked at my certificate now LOL) but I hate geography and when i did that test i thought I epicly failed :rofl:

Lol, this test is hard so like virtually everyone fails. Getting a HD is just a matter of the extent you fail.

That test was absurdly hard.

The test has like nothing to do with anything in the sylabbus. I'ts like 5 questions on skills and the rest is pretty much world geo. Heh it's pretty easy, I did it every year and did quite ok. I've met some of the guys too.
