I got 95.60 which is exactly what I wanted, I've met the conditions for my med offer so I'm over the moon!! I can't believe my 69 Ext 2 mark actually counted towards my ATAR and not 85 physics... according to HSCNinja the last time that would have happened was 2009.
UTas Med right?

update, i think my effort reflects a 96.5, i shouldmt be so bitter

Bc dux at my school got 99.45 and like my atar goal was 99,.5 and i thought in could never compete with her so like how could i beat her even if she couldnt even get 99.5 (i hope that makes sense)

also im drunk sooooooo, idk maybe ill feel worse in the morning but all is fine right now

Just shows really how much effort goes into those 99 atars which i honestly undreestimated so like im in the wrong tbh

im like a switchblade just reversing my emotions real quick, and also i beat my brothers 96.35 so like dab

In case anyone's interested:

92.5 - without any band 6s (surprising)

What ATAR calculators told me:
Talent 100 = 93.75

The only thing that saved me were internals

Here's my marks:
Exam/Internal/HSC/band
Advanced English = 79/85/82/5
Financial Services = 85/5 (No internals - kind of weird though because I did a trial)
3U Maths = 80/95/88/E3
4U Maths = 68/90/79/E3
Music 2 = 90/87/89/5

Really surprised overall - I was legit expecting around 70 based on the amount of exam prep I did.

Also, no-one seems to have ranked for Financial Services - 5 marks away from getting it then :/
Congratulations!

Did anybody else get a way higher atar than expected? I was stoked with my 97.20!! Scaling was kind to me [emoji24][emoji24] I almost couldn’t believe it when I saw it haha

i was wondering if i can get into the course i put as my first preference because it doesn't have a guaranteed atar but it says that "most applicants" need a specific atar or over to get in.... I got an atar that is around 3 marks higher than the LA but 0.1 marks under the "specific atar" that is required. Would I have a chance of getting in if I only got 0.1 marks below?
How long is a piece of string? Put it first, and see what happens. Which course/uni?

Hey, I received a low ATAR of 58.35, is it still possible for me get into B of Nursing at WSU, UTS or ACU? If not, do you know any other universities that accepts low atar such as mine? Preferably near the city.

Thank you

You should maybe look into doing a diploma at TAFE or something and then transferring - it'll take time off your degree anyway AND it's so much cheaper. Regardless of my ATAR, I'm doing that for my course and I've already got employment because of it :)

I have a question. Since I did bio accelerated, does that mean my marks will by scaled (by UAC) differently than those who do bio in 2019.

You'll keep the mark that you've got in this years HSC, which has already been scaled.

Higher then the median ATAR so you've done well compared to a lot of people.

Are you planning to go to Uni?

Yes. There are still quite a few rounds of offers left.

Maybe also lower down the list put ACU ballerat as it only requires an ATAR of 58.55 which is very close to your ATAR.

Hi, I was wondering what the difference is between the Psychological Science course at UNSW and majoring in Psychology in the Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science course. Which one would be easier to transfer to the Psychology Honours course? And also, would the Psychological Science course be more focused on studying psychology than you would in BA or BS?
