Thoughts on the paper? Any questions you liked or didn't like?

Paper was largely fine until question 14. The infinite series question was quite difficult but was able to be done with some manipulation of the final result. Definitely more difficult than 2017 again, same as 4U.

I managed to get most of the last question
That paper was definitely much harder than 2017. Expecting e4 cutoff to be less

Paper was easy for me until the 4 marker, which I barely managed to get in the last few minutes.

Weirdly enough I couldn’t get the result in the preceding 1 mark question even though I checked my similar triangles 5 times.

Probably made a few sillies elsewhere.

Was the exam out of 70? I didn’t notice what it said on the front.

solutions from NGO and SUNS didn't show that |r| < 1 for 4 marker at the end. I think they would lose a mark
Probably. But I guess we can cut them some slack since they got it out so quickly.

I'm still plodding along slowly but I've made sure to explain everything in detail.

I made a fair few stupid errors and feel like an idiot
- Didn't do the proper inequality method for 1e
- Didn't restrict the domain for the inverse, didn't see the 'at least' in the probability
- was trying to do Pythagoras to find ST, for some reason didn't use the distance formula directly ffs
- missed the last part of the induction
- screwed majority of 14 up

I reckon just over 50/70 raw.

Thats what i reckon i got as well. I made the same stuffed up the inequality and I didn't have time to attempt much for question 14.
