theyre probably gonna ask us to analyse some side character who appeared for 5 lines

wait a minute is differentiation by first principle out of scope currently?

id be surprised if it was. but it is really tedious and doing differentiation normally i feel is just more convenient for markers to test

tbh i got the biggest light bulb moment when i understood what that (f(x+h)-f(x))/h formula meant, so i guess its a good thing its being emphasised so much lmao

no but why it's not complex nor is the proof. You don't need to base the proof off induction or any other obscure ext concepts. 5 dot points is such a waste

true true but i feel like if somebody understands what the formula is saying they'll have a really strong grasp of what differentiation is even doing anyways.
having questions on it is very annoying though i do get that, it takes so much lines of working lmao

I don't even know what to make of music now. I just hope my sister doesn't continue that and drama in year 11

all x has to be replaced with f(x) which starts to look horrible when fractions start showing themselves

yeah but hopefully they wont assess it with any really ugly functions, just the nice simple ones. its just cruel and a waste of time to do any more than that and thatd be testing how good somebody's algebra skills are, not differentiation

tell her to do physics or biology. save her from chemistry as soon as possible

she does accel science I keep telling her she can't throw that into the bin and should take advantage of locking in when nothing else is that important (call it a long-term investment) and then get really good and be done with it bc i can also teach her and its an insane atar boost.

yeahh i wish i did an accel subject, the extra time you get is crazyy
too bad i wasnt good enough at math in my junior years to get even an invite to accel math lmaooo

chemistry I would NEVER recommend with the pain and suffering its caused me

fr, chemistry is such a painful subject to study. how i wish i did physics instead

Accel is a chance i would've loved to take idk why my school doesn't host it for anything.

i think they dont run it if they think not enough people would even be interested in taking it or capable of doing the course

Yeah physics is fun. Originally i thought the induction that you do in ext was the same as em induction but no sadly em induction is way harder

just searched up em induction and the diagrams are giving me a headache already

its pretty much the hardest topic in physics from what I've heard and attempted. But that and mod 5 you'll need for engineering of pretty much any sort

whats taught in mod 5? i actually cant wait to learn physics, too bad im being swarmed with all my other subjects right now

projectile motion circular motion and how celestial objects are impacted by gravity and undergo pm and cm

pm? as in the time after 12 oclock?

the whole module is inputting stuff into several formulae and using common sense through all theory questions its not too bad

i cant waittt to understand physics. its the one science ive never really gotten into weirdly enough even though its the most math based one

actually I need to revise that stuff because I left it alone term 1 because the task was a depth study, so I only really specialised on circular motion

depth studies... that reminds me i need to get my chem one finished soon
