Thats more chill than I expected. Law is a good degree though (It has a good rep at least). I think engineering classes will be cooked so I've just to to hope that ecology/or bio will be more chill.
yeah law is pretty good if you enjoy it, for engineering i heard its cooked but idk i never went anywhere near it so good luck lol

Is the content super hard or is it just a backbreaking amount for your degree? I remember some open day where someone said its less work but more self-directed hence some find it more difficult. Does that statement hold up?
well i dont really agree with that statement but i am only just starting law. From what i noticed is that the more work you put in, the more you get out. Its self-directed in the sense that you need to teach yourself how to read the cases and how to understand how lawyers/judges write/speak. But that takes a lot of your time, especially if you've just came out of school and your writing skills are very basic. perhaps in later years i will support that statement but now it's quite the opposite 😂

yeah the content may be hard to understand at first sight; hence my statement about reading how lawyers speak, but when you start to get a hold of it, it gets easier. And yes, it's a backbreaking amount, right now im procrastinating reading 30 pages of our prescribed textbook lol

Only thing I can say is thank god I'm not doing law.... But given the reputation of engineering its probably a worse fate in every single way lol
honestly i feel like uni in general, in most degrees, is difficult, its a different environment than what youre used to in highschool and it takes a bit getting used to

omdz glgl. Yay now I can look forward to killing myself over hsc and repeating that again for another 5 years not even 4 months later 😅
yep so enjoy the right now lol its the best it gets unfortunately. but to shed some optimism its not AS bad as i may have described it like you do have more independence where you can just do whatever you want and youre not bound by a strict 8-3pm schedule everyday

Ok what do u like abt uni over hsc? Maybe it takes time for people to enjoy uni
I like the flexibility it offers. Ik for me all of my lectures are recorded without marked attendence and most of my tutorials aren’t marked as well (aren’t recorded tho). I like how the weightings of assessments are split up so that if I lock in during the term I can kind of slack off during the finals.
I never rlly made friends within my course tho.

SO hello ppl i may or may not asked this but for chem notes, maths adv/ext1, physics and bio notes, when should i prepare b4 i start yr 11 cuz i have yrlys in wk1 t4 so afterwards im technically free with i think career thingy n a revision yr 11 maths prep?

and also how, like do i make notes when they start teaching us or, self teach myself n make it b4 hand during holidays n edit/add when they teach u abt it or just take tution, grind it and make notes based off ur skl content n weakness/strengths in tuition ?

Do answer me in detail like anything that will be useful/relvant abt senior yr prep esp subject notes/its prep.

From my experience, the main thing is exposure. After your yearlies, I'd recommend reviewing the first section of all the subjects your doing based on the syllabus. This basically gives you a general idea of what you gotta expect and also gives you a headstart on the other content. Personally, I did a lot of questions after I learnt each dp even if I didn't understand the content properly because exposure is important.
