Shouldn't people be saying which school they go to?

I go to Burwood Girls, and here are my lists:

5 Things I like:
1. The teachers (for the most part)
2. My friends and the other people in my year.
3. Little to no pressure to do well academically :)
4. International day.
5. Senior area.

5 Things I dislike:
1. Smartarse juniors.
2. The principal and 2/4 of the deputies.
3. The reputation (and the fact that it's deserved)
4. All girls.
5. All (most) skanky girls.

OMG,you were in THAT year group. Can't blame you for leaving really... heaps of dickheads in your year.

Academically, IMO, it can be as great a school as you want it to be. As long as you get yourself into the top two maths and adv english and work consistently you can easily get 90+..if not 95.

The '05 year group wasn't bad. Off the top of my head there were two high 98s, one or two 97s, about 5 or 6 96s, 2 or 3 95s and then I cant remember how many more between 89-95.

Goodluck in your HSC. Dont take prelim too seriously, but make sure you get yourself into (or stay in) atleast Adv English and Mathematics.

LOL!

How many times people have said that about our year group, I couldn't count.

But oh yeah, there are plenty of dickheads in our year.

And he doesn't fancy his chances of being in the top 2 ranks in english and maths

Likes:
1. Fantastic art teacher
2. Great surroundings (we're in the bush)
3. Senior area
4. Co-ed
5. Year co-ords very involved

Dislikes
1. Mostly rude, pain in the arse students, who don't care about their schooling (ignore ignore ignore)
2. Extremelly poor academic performance (ranked in the mid 500s)
3. Little to no school spirit
4. Very bad organisation and communication
5. We aren't allowed on excursions

Lots of dislikes really. It's not the best school, and what frustrates me more is - it SHOULD be a lot better. I don't know where this terrible culture of mediocrity came from. Maybe it's just the whole Western Sydney thing? Who knows.

Anyway, I'm on Pathways (I'm diseased) and so am only doing two subjects there this year - then I'm done with the place.

Like:
1. Great surroundings, heaps of trees and grass and a small ag farm
2. Friendly (mostly) teachers
3. Retro-ish 70's buildings
4. Really easy to navigate, you have to be retarded to get lost there
5. Swipe card senior attendance system (no more roll call YES!!!)

Dislike:
1. The skanky dirty slutty lame year 9 and 10 girls who need to be kicked in the face
2. The lack of ethnic diversity (at least 90% of my school is anglo)
3. Kinda poor rank wise, 330th or something lame like that
4. Too much emphasis on sport even though we are not a sports high school
5. Kinda crap performing arts facilities (the theatrette needs a major overhaul)
