How much money do you have to your name?? (I don't mean how wealthy is your family.) If you're willing to tell, (approximately) how much money altogether do you have in savings+cash in hand. I work part-time and when I first started I saved the bulk of what I earned and now have nearly $7000 in savings but I'm not saving so much anymore............ I hope this thread isn't too intrusive, I'm just curious!

probably as in youth allowance, i guess.

at the moment about $10000 or so, due to working a fair amount/there being nothing i particularly want to buy in port macquarie. it'll all go out the window once i move away.

Hehe- well the bank money I can't touch til I'm 18, which is 4 more months... but it is going to be for uni.
