got a call from PwC tonight but i was at work (dammmit the only night shift ive got in the week they decide to call...)... they wouldnt leave my mum a message - is this because they offered me a place, or maybe so that they didnt crush my mum with their rejection??? lol

im gonna call em tomorrow morning.. ooo the suspense lol

man i hope im not completely crushed in 10 hrs time...

well i only applied for PwC, KPMG, EY and mcgrathnicol

rejections from kpmg and ey at the application stage lol

mgrathnicol havent got back to me at all yet

and tomorrow morning i learn my fate for PwC lol... its gonna b a long night..

im tax/legal and i was on tuesday

i think it was very good for the role play/written task/numerical exam but there were some things in the interview that i said that maybe would have been better not.. lol

eg: that i like diversity in my job ie. that i like to do a variety of things in my job,, but the lady said that the job was fairly specific

also i alluded to the fact that i preferred being told what to do and that i didnt really like responsibility lol.. silly i know

but the interviewers seemed happy and yeh.. positive energy i thought. apparently i shared similarities with a son of one intervier and the husband of the other (mine were both ladies) so it felt quite comfortable

i have high hopes at this stage... gotta be positive ay

i think you'll be fine based on what u said.

i felt i did good in the numerical exam and group activity but i felt the wirtten exercise i only did very average. and i wasnt sure about how my interview went, i answered the Q's properly but the partner was very good at hiding how he felt towards my responses. and the manager didnt really say anything

and i surprisingly got in, so you should be fine!

hope to hear good news from you tomorrow

Good luck, shakky15! I'm still waiting for a call from PwC. Quite surprised that they haven't called by now actually, even if it is a rejection.

I'm really hoping that I will get an offer from them, but I know the chances are pretty slim at this stage .

i got a call from pwc and i got in. YAYAYYA not sure which service line in assurance tho....

my honest opinion:
1. You WILL be crushed in 10 hours time
2. The suspense will equal a great pwnage
3. You will report back to us tomorrow saying that you got rejected.
4. I will say "I told you so"
5. Should i be right about my prediction, you will be angry/annoyed
