Alright. Fingers cross that I get an interview.

Did they ask you any questions, or did they say, come to the interview straight away?
They just asked me to come for an interview. But I have already accepted PriceWaterhouseCoopers, so I had to decline. :(

Nope I'm not applying.

These are the companies I personally have not heard from:
- McGrathNicol
- Accru
- HLB
- Clark and Jacobs
- Einfelds Symonds Vince
- Borough Mazars

I know someone has been contacted from Accru and someone else McGrathNicol. What about the other 4?

Yup, good old Baulko.

Are you in a cadetship atm? What is it like?

I was at EY yesterday (Wednesday) so pretty amazed at how fast everything has progressed. In the space of 24 hours I have my contract and everything

Also, my EY contract specified how much I earn. So yeah I assume yours would as well.

Came by express courier actually.
does the contract require you to sign it immediately? how long does EY give u?

i thought PwC was 4 hours study leave/wk?
no, i don't think so. one of the current cadets at PwC said it was 7.5 hours because it's essentially one whole working day off.

according to the ICAA all accounting firms must have received the contracts by July 25th. so that gives about two weeks to contemplate it, sign it then post it back to them
