We're still negotiating.

The ideal outcome would be to cordon the upstairs bar off, so that it's accessible only to O18s. Purchase and consumption of alcohol would be restricted to that area. The rest of the venue would be open to all ages.

Hmm....

I think it would be hard to stop people from bringing the drinks downstairs. I mean there are gonna be haps of people. What's the chance your gonna catch someone? hahah

At least I'll be 18. but I got no proof.

Have to get my license >_< damn passport doesn't look like me anymore so i have to re-new before i do my test

If our negotiations succeed, the arrangements would inevitably have to be very strict - exits would need to be guarded as well.

You can always get a proof of age card if you can't get your licence in time.

I would presume you need better proof than that.

There are only three forms of accepted identification:

- NSW Driver's Licence
- Passport
- Proof of Age card

Most places will take an original birth certificate... I actually did that for a month after I lost my wallet (before I got my licence replaced).

It was mildly embarrassing, but it usually worked (when I combined it with my student ID and bank card :p). I kind of liked the challenge.

i think it still should be banned. think about it.
what if the 18's only area is more fun than the less than 18 area?
and think of the problems alcohol itself will produce
it really doesnt bother me cuz im not going

Yep, I wanted to get a Proof of Age card for UMAT (since I couldn't be bothered asking my principal to write one of those letters proving my enrolment, signatures, address, name, school letterhead, college seal, photo etc).

So I ended up getting my Ls... haven't driven a day in my life :p
(needed some form of photo ID with name, age, address, photo, signature for UMAT)
