What would be the things you would include as part of your notes?
Apart from ideas, themes and quotes, any other suggestions?

Especially, Blade Runner and Frankenstein Mod A is killing me right now. My essay is 2 weeks away and I haven't started my notes...

Since it is a comparative study, include as many links as possible

Link the context in which they were written/made
Link any similar themes eg. dangers of science, playing god.

Concept 1

Frankenstein
-Context influence
-Value
-Language/Techniques

Blade Runner
-Context influence
-Value
-Language/Techniques

... Concept 2
-etc etc.

That's how I'm doing it anyway. Compare and contrast texts, explain why. Refer to why a text is still valued (universal themes through time)... blah. :)

My suggestion would just be to practice writin heaps of essays, ive found that the more u practice it the better the info stays in ur head 2, and the less u stress comin up to the test
By the way, wat module are u guys doin at the moment, im not sure which module im doin but im specialising in the concept of belonging and im studying 'Romulus my Father'.

I've never made a set of notes for english >_<;"
Have always just written a generic essay and modified it to fit the question.
It's generally always worked.

Oh and it should be possible to have contextual details for all your concepts. Just talk about society at that time, shove in a few prominent thinkers and you should be fine.

Didn't make notes, got 91 externally.

Secret formula: Generic essays and doing past paper questions.
