lol no.. we're not open on either =]

I really don't think I'd be able to rock up to work on those days anyway.. I'd probably be passed out somewhere..

I honestly wouldn't mind working on the upcoming public holidays. I could do with the money ...and I don't have much planned for the next few weeks anyway.
Unfortunately because my store is inside a Westfield, it isn't open for Boxing Day. Hope I get rostered on for New Years Day though :| I clearly have no life....
Really?
I work at Target in a Westfield and we are open 9-6 Boxing Day.

I hope I work boxing day, it's unimportant to me and as such could use the $20/hr

Oh, oops. I was meant to say only the major department stores are open that day.

Is stores opening on new years day a new thing? I could have sworn last year all the shops in my area were shut, no matter what size. This year they're all open!

I'm working 11 - 3, and am the only staff member besides the managers. God damn I hope the penalty rate is huge and there's no customers, because I'll be ratshitted from the night before.

Must be new in NSW because in QLD, they were open last New Years Day.

I think I'm working 8 hours on Boxing Day and we get paid double time for public holidays. I've rostered off New Year's Day though... psyched for a huge party on NYE.

I've got 8-6 on Christmas Eve & 7-6.30 on Boxing Day...though I'd like to sleep in it's really not that bad considering $29 an hour..an easy $300+ in a day :D
