I've compared Ricki-Lee's and Anthony's voices, and RL's definately 'screeches' when she goes for those big notes, whereas Anthony can hold it.

(I'm no musician, but thats what my ears tell me)

Casey sang Tina Arena. Anthony sang ANDREA BOCELLI.

Enough said.

I hate Australia.

everyone has a different opinion. i personally believe she is the best and Anthony...not so much. i am sick of people in here raving about how great Anthony is but i don't tell them off. and what would Mark know, Ricki-Lee definitely deserved a touchdown on that song.

You see, voice talent doesn't come out of a national television show.

What DOES come out of it is millions and millions of dollars for the broadcaster and production companies, etc.
Sales hit the roof, and why?

Because Australians are turning into Americans - sitting on their arses all night, every night, watching television, using computers, etc.

If you don't mind me saying - our culture has lost its way.

I have to say, Casey appealed to me from the start the most, and I hope that after the first album is released, she begins writing her own stuff, and singing more stuff like "The Special Ones" (I love george sooooo much) and "Hello" (Amy Lee's voice is incredible, and her song writing skills are amazing). These songs are the songs which Casey appears to be great at showing her emotions.

On the topic of Ricki-Lee, I thought she was an incredible performer, I wish she had gotten further. But I'm so extremely happy Casey won: she was my pick from the start, and she evokes such emotion in every performance; she truly did sing from the heart when she performed some of her better tunes.

Good luck Casey.
