It all seemed so lovely last week. The Australian Idol forum members were frolicking innocently in squeaky-clean threads. I was very impressed.

Then I checked the forums this morning and found comments, user names and lingo that I find utterly repulsive. These forums are about to become very strict. I will ban members for the slightest wrong-doing and add a multitude of slang to our list of blacklisted words.

Apologies to those of you who are cool kids with morals and ethics. I guarantee that I will do my best from this day on, to remove the trailer trash from these forums. This is a place for fans to meet - not some dodgy introduction agency. And for those of you who think I will be lenient - I guarantee you that I'm not only willing to ban you for life - I will also thoroughly enjoy it.

On a slightly brighter note, we would like to make this clear for the few people who have been wondering:

The ‘Most Active Users’ list on the homepage relates to the most active users in the past 24 hours as opposed to overall.

Thanks to everybody who has contributed to (rather than attempted to destroy) these forums.

this seasons has some pretty good singers, i've been watching the auditions for some laughs, but they pulled through some pretty cool voices, i might follow it.
